Dawud Butuner, (1173, ?) was a potter in Jerusalem.
Dawud believed in Yazdanism.
He was doing well financially. He owned a house and some fine goods with it. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He was seen as a true poet, and legends says that he couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Dawud made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. He was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.
