Dayo Jiao, (-1553, ?) was a leather worker in Tlokwe.
Dayo believed in Shamanism.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Tlokwe, she gained the trust or the friendship of no one. People saw Dayo as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. In the life, she was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
