Menhet Baragsenesi, (-1384, -1306) was a toolmaker in Meroe.
Menhet believed in Shamanism.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had only a basic knowledge that summed up to a few oral stories from childhood. She was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. She was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.
Menhet, 55 years old, toolmaker, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
At the age of 61, Menhet decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. The same day, Menhet participated to a witch hunt. Soon after, Menhet fell in love with Udad, an ugly man, 25 years old, a thief. Both married and lived together from now on.
Aged 72, Menhet spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. A few weeks later, Menhet blackmailed a famous figure in Meroe to gain influence. Nine months after, Menhet overcame a depression.
Aged 78, Menhet spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. On the next full moon, Menhet tried to escape some debts, but failed, and had to pay much more.
