Aat Baragsenesi, (-614, -584) was a winemaker in Meroe.
Aat believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had only a basic knowledge that summed up to a few oral stories from childhood. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Aat, 13 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
At the age of 16, Aat, 16 years old, winemaker, became the new leader of the family.
14 years later, Aat decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. During her travel she were attacked by a group of bandits that took most of her possessions. The family settled in Meroe. Soon after, Aat was tricked by a confidence man. On the first day of the month after, Aat fell in love with Ilozumba, an average looking man, 41 years old, a farmer. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few weeks later, Aat got pregnant, and gave birth to a huge baby boy named Ejikeme.
