She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had only a basic knowledge that summed up to a few oral stories from childhood. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Ometeko, 67 years old, fisher, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 78, Ometeko decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Gobero were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. Half a year later, Ometeko payed a long due debt. Soon after, Ometeko had nightmares. A little while after, Ometeko fell in love with Akpobome, a beautiful man, 37 years old, a porter. Both married and lived together from now on.
