Iraj Vlaaam, (1697, ?) was a mercenary in Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium.
Iraj believed in Mithraism.
He lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. He lived as an outcast. To tell the truth, in Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium, he gained the trust or the friendship of no one. He had no culture at all and lived like a beast. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
