Gilukhipa Yahvaz, (-1780, -1718) was a spinner in Ife.
Gilukhipa believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was rather respected though seen as belonging to the middle class. However, he could access to many opportunities. She was a major cultural actor of the time, and known to have autored masterpieces. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Gilukhipa, 32 years old, spinner, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 47, Gilukhipa spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. On the next full moon, Gilukhipa was afraid to spend a life devoid of purpose. Half a year later, Gilukhipa fell in love with Urhie, a monstrous looking man, 44 years old, a brick maker. Both married and lived together from now on.
The same day, Gilukhipa got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small girl named Orisa.
In the year -1718, Gilukhipa decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Adrar Bous, in Africa : a couple of houses in the shadow of a huge mountain. The travel was fascinating, and she learned many things on the road. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. On the first day of the month after, Gilukhipa began to fear death.
