Bayissa Indiracox, (-985, -958) was a gatherer in Meroe.
Bayissa believed in Animism.
He earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. He was considered a standard citizen of their society, with as much power than most of the people. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was weak, and fell ill all the time. In the life, he was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Bayissa, 13 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, he was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
3 years later, Bayissa, 16 years old, gatherer, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -958, Bayissa decided to visit the world. He went on a long journey and reached Knossos, in Europe : a large city of painted stones, with large temples and bull statues. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and he made some business. Then he came back and was quite happy to find his house and family. A little while after, Bayissa accepted to shelter a travelling family for a few weeks. On the first day of the month after, Bayissa had to fight in a war and came back injured. Half a year later, Bayissa fell in love with Behenu, a beautiful woman, 35 years old, a weaver. Both married and lived together from now on.
Later, Behenu got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby. However, the baby died in the following year by a mysterious disease. The whole family was shaken.
Bayissa fell to death into a chasm looking for food.
