He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. He was strong, beautiful, and long lived. He was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
Akpobome, 1731 years old, musician, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
Aged 1746, Akpobome decided to visit the world. He went on a long journey and reached Tlokwe, in Africa : a peaceful village in the hills. The travel did change him, making him stronger than before. Then he came back and was quite happy to find his house and family. A little while after, Akpobome was told by a priest of Animism that the stars promised a good future. A few weeks later, Akpobome fell in love with Butemwe, an average looking woman, 41 years old, a thief. Both married and lived together from now on.
Half a year later, Butemwe got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking boy named Akpobome.
