Habtamu believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. He had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, he made many friends. He was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was a determined one, living an independant way of life.

Aged 68, Habtamu wanted to find the love of his live and marry. He began to look for a suitable spouse in Naqa. Habtamu fell in love with Menhet, a stunning woman, 18 years old, a latrines keeper.
