Onanojah Gilarpido, (-1509, ?) was a potter in Meroe.
Onanojah believed in Animism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. He had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, he made many friends. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. He was known as resolute, with a true entrepreneur spirit.
