Nekesa Bakeroff, (-1373, -1298) was a potter in Gondershe.
Nekesa believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Nekesa as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. In the life, she was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Nekesa, 64 years old, potter, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -1298, Nekesa invested time and efforts into a special craft : a grotesque vase. People admired her for this work and Nekesa decided to keep it as a family treasure. A few days later, Nekesa lost an eye in a domestic accident.
Nekesa died of a heart failure.
Aged 64, Nekesa, 64 years old, potter, became the new leader of the family.
