Miriam Gilatoff, (456, 498) was a brick maker in Djemila.
Miriam believed in Mithraism.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Miriam as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Miriam, 27 years old, brick maker, became the new leader of the family.
In the year 492, Miriam looked for a child to adopt. Miriam found a tall boy named Kioko left alone. Kioko became part of the family from now on. On the next full moon, Miriam fasted on a regular basis.
She was oppressed by the people in Djemila for believing in Mithraism, but her faith and her will were strenghtened by this trial.
Aged 42, Miriam spent time socializing with people in Djemila. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). At the same time, Miriam had her house burned in an accident. A few weeks later, Miriam disappeared for a few days, and nobody knew why. On the next full moon, Miriam fell in love with Anaborhi, an average looking man, 26 years old, a dancer. Both married and lived together from now on.
At the same time, Miriam got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable boy named Udumebraye.
