Ece Doe, (552, 659) was a toolmaker in Hecatompylos.
Ece believed in Zoroastrianism.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Ece as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Ece, 84 years old, toolmaker, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 94, Ece decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Katsina-Ala, in Africa : a hamlet in a curve of a mighty river. The travel was fascinating, and she learned many things on the road. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A few weeks later, Ece broke a leg.
She was oppressed by the people in Cairo for believing in Zoroastrianism, and she had to find another place to live. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. The family settled in Hecatompylos.
Aged 107, Ece spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. The same day, Ece rejected the family values. Half a year later, Ece got a severe flu.
