Ometeko Andareohoh, (-1154, -1078) was a salt miner in Danangombe.
Ometeko believed in Animism.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had no culture at all and lived like a beast. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Ometeko, 62 years old, salt miner, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 71, Ometeko understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. On the next full moon, Ometeko sold her neighbour to the autorities. A few days later, Ometeko participated to a witch hunt. A few weeks later, Ometeko fell in love with Djedhor, a charming man, 39 years old, a quarryman. Both married and lived together from now on.
At the age of 76, Ometeko decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. The family settled in Danangombe. A little while after, Ometeko got a neverending hiccup.
