Menhet , (-700, -597) was a butcher in Samun Dukiya.
Menhet believed in Berber religion.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Samun Dukiya. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Menhet, 88 years old, butcher, became the new leader of the family.
15 years later, Menhet spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. Soon after, Menhet was chased out of Banganarti by a rival. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Samun Dukiya. Nine months after, Menhet slept more.
