Alara Potzo, (-2573, -2522) was a lumberjack in Motsetsi.
Alara believed in Animism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. He was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. He could read and write a little bit. He was strong, beautiful, and long lived. He was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.
Alara, 36 years old, spinner, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 51, Alara decided to visit the world. He went on a long journey and reached Engaruka, in Africa : a large city, surrounded by a stone wall, in the middle of a desert. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave him a recommandation, so he would be welcomed wherever he went. Then he came back and was quite happy to find his house and family. Later, Alara had his faith strenghtened.
Alara died of a pulmonary edema.
In the year -2537, Alara, 36 years old, lumberjack, became the new leader of the family.
