Dayo believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had only a basic knowledge that summed up to a few oral stories from childhood. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.She was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
Dayo, 36 years old, hunter, became the new leader of the family.
At the age of 51, Dayo decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Ngwenya Mine. A few weeks later, Dayo was told by a priest of Animism that the stars promised a good future. At the same time, Dayo found some unclaimed land, and made it her own.
